All this garbage is happening because there are more paedophiles, & sympathisers speaking out for their disgusting agendas, compared to good people standing up for kids. IT’S THAT SIMPLE. Society ignores, politicians ignore & don’t care, & the justice system supports paedophiles, not kids.
So, if all the good people in society keep ignoring, kids are in so much danger! You must start standing up for kids, speak out, raise awareness just like these woke idiots do for their cause to make sexually abusing or raping kids normal.
* Moves are underway to rebrand paedophiles as ‘hebephiles’ if they target 11 to 14 year olds and ephebophiles if – like Jeffrey Epstein – they target youngsters aged 15 and over.
The Minor-Attracted Persons (MAP) scandal at Police Scotland has highlighted the use of language around child sex offenders with other moves also underway.
Some experts have suggested that people who commit sexual offences against older children should not be described as ‘paedophiles’.
They prefer the terms ‘hebephile’ for someone who is interested in 11-14 year olds and ‘ephebophile’ for post-pubescent young people aged 15 to 19. Using this definition, a paedophile is somebody with a sexual interest in pre-pubescent children.
The moves will do little to dampen fears that MAP and other terms are being introduced as part of an orchestrated “attempt to sanitise child abuse” and ultimately have the age of consent lowered in the UK.
In April 2021, police, prosecutors and criminologists from across Europe attended an EU-funded online seminar on preventing child abuse. Dr Esperanza Gómez Durán, a Forensic Doctor and Psychiatrist at the School of Medicine, Universitat Internacional de Catalunya, was among the speakers.
She told the delegates: “Minor-attracted person or ‘MAP’ is a widely acknowledged term used in the global Sex Offender Research and Sex Offender Treatment Community. By using these terms we under no circumstances are condoning or accepting the sexual abuse of children.
“MAP IS NOT an attempt to ‘rebrand’ or ‘polish’ pedophiles. [It is an] umbrella term that includes:- Pedophile: pre-pubescent child- Hebephile: pubescent child (11-14)- Ephebophile: post-pubescent child (15-19).”
Similar terminology was used by the Stop It Now! Scotland charity, which works alongside Police Scotland and aims to stop people who have sexual thoughts about children from acting on them.
In a recent submission to the Scottish Child Abuse Inquiry, the charity said: “It may be that some offenders have a strong, persistent interest in early teenagers aged 11-14 (hebophilia) or older teenagers aged 14-19 (ephebophilia)(Erooga 2019).”
The Scottish Sentencing Council guidelines state that a number of factors must be taken into account when child sex offenders are being sentenced, including the age of their victims.
And in a review published in August 2022, it said “some professionals had argued in favour” of “hebephilia” being included as a separate disorder in the latest edition of the “Diagnostic and Statistical Manual, the so-called ‘bible’ of mental disorders”.
The review adds: “However, this suggestion was faced with significant objections and was ultimately rejected. Hence, sexual attraction to pubescent or post-pubescent minors does not exist as a formally recognised psychiatric disorder.”
‘Jeffrey Epstein was an ephebophile’
During an intervew June 2021, socialite Lady Colin Campbell insisted convicted child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein was not a paedophile in a “bizarre” interview on GB News.
She said: “Well, first of all, may I say, paedophile is a medical term, so is hebophile and so is ephebophile, and Jeffrey Epstein was an ephebophile.”
Police Scotland made headlines around the world after it used the term Minor-Attracted Person in the chief constable’s end-of-year report as part of its involvement in a £2.1million EU project to reduce child sexual exploitation.
Although the force has insisted it does not recognise the term and successfully campaigned for it to be dropped, MAPs is still in use on the European Commission home page for the 2PS – Protect and Prevent Through Support scheme.
